Support Coordination Level 1
Level 1 Support Connection for NDIS Participants in the NT
Support Connection is the starting point for many NDIS plans. It gives you short-term, practical help to understand what your plan covers and how to put it to work across the Northern Territory.
At Insight Coordination, our Support Connection helps you find and link up with the right providers. That covers funded supports, mainstream services and community options that match your goals.
The aim is to build your confidence. We show you how your funding works and how to arrange supports, so you can take on more of the coordination yourself over time.
We support participants across the Territory living with permanent and significant disability. That includes intellectual, physical and sensory disability. It also includes cognitive and psychosocial disability.
Support Connection is lighter-touch than Level 2 or Level 3. You stay in control and do some of the groundwork, with a coordinator on hand to guide the parts that are new or unclear.
No job is too big or too small. Our mission is to provide accessible, quality coordination that helps you, your family and your carers reach a healthier and higher quality of life.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is Level 1 Support Connection?
It is short-term NDIS support that helps you understand your plan and connect with the right providers. A coordinator helps you get set up, then you manage more of your supports yourself.
Who is Support Connection best suited to?
It suits participants who need a little guidance to get started and are happy to do some of the coordination themselves. If you manage most things day to day, Level 1 is often enough.
How is Level 1 different from Level 2?
Level 1 is lighter and usually short-term, focused on connecting you to supports. Level 2 Coordination of Supports is more hands-on and ongoing, with a coordinator managing more of the plan with you.
How is Support Connection funded?
The hours come from the Support Coordination budget in your NDIS plan. Our current hourly rate is shown on this page.
Do I need to live near Howard Springs?
No. We are based at Howard Springs and support participants right across the Northern Territory. Most Support Connection work happens by phone, email and video.
Can I move to a higher level later?
Yes. If your needs grow or become more complex, your plan can be reviewed and you may move to Level 2 or Level 3 support. We can help you prepare for that conversation.
